My first comment is to newheart, did it ever dawn on you that he didn't take his medication so that they can see the FULL affects of the disease not the watered down version. Then maybe they will truly see what a person with Parkinson's Disease lives with from day to day and maybe, just maybe they will try to do what ever they can to eradicate the disease. Second Rush is an a**, he is the one with a problem. I prescription drug, problem. He is an insensitive b*stard and he should stop & think before he makes ignorant comments.

I think Limbaugh is a joke. Millions of people suffer from this disease all around the world. But just because Michael J Fox has is and is an actor DOES NOT mean that Limbaugh should mock him and state that he is merely acting. I think if someone close to Limbaugh was to suffer the disease for even just one day, then his comments would be reversed! More should be done to discover cures, not just some yuppy mocking of the disease' exsistance!

I even have dealt with those with Parkinsonism, and between the info is it does substitute in accordance to the time of day, the time considering the fact which you took your medicine, your temper and your problem. My inital theory replaced into it replaced into over the splendid, and after questioning approximately this, examining the different solutions, changing my concepts, and numerous answer re-writes later, i think of he replaced into incorrect to strengthen the question of no remember if Fox replaced into appearing or hadn't taken his medicine (he had) for the commercial. An advert is often an quite controlled problem. yet with Parkinsonism while the condition is there, it may actual final for something of the day, so it does no longer be no longer common to action picture. Fox is a guy who's held in severe regard by capacity of many people, so he does no longer have faked / acted / no longer taken his medicine to simulate the condition, it incredibly is right. It replaced into rather brought about by capacity of a comfortable overdose. My wager is he did no longer favourite that too a lot medicine can produce the comparable symptoms using fact the disease itself till after the advert replaced into aired, I surely did no longer know this till Fox pronounced so. Rush has apologized in individual to Fox on air.

Of course, this story has been distorted to make Rush look bad and Fox look great.
Rush didn't "mock" anyone. He made the following points:
(1) Fox intentionally made his condition appear more severe to manipulate audiences; (2) Rush also stated that Fox distorted Jim Talent's record on stem cell research (Talent supports ADULT stem cell research); Rush also observed that (3) Fox is the latest in a long line of victims-as-spokespersons who are used by the Dems to deflect criticism and debate (Cindy Sheehan, the Jersey Girls, Christopher Reeve), figuring that no one would take on someone with Parkinson's.
No one here can take on Rush on any of the above points. The only thing libs can repeat over and over is "hypocrite-hypocrite."
(The cardinal sin for libs is hypocrisy.)

I think Rush Limbaugh is a pill popping jerk who is bitter and has nothing better to do than mock people with real illnesses. Parkinson's disease is a serious thing. Why in the world would anyone think to not medicate themself for dramatic effect? That is ridiculous.

I think that regardless of what you believe you don't critisize people's disabilities and Rush had no right to attack Michael's Parkinsons's syptoms. That being said, if you are willing to make commercials for political candidates you better be prepared to face a little criticism about your beliefs. In this situation Rush took it way too far.

Rush was simply making a point that exposed the phony ad Fox did to play politics and lie to Americans . Stem Cell research is not even a possibility to cure Parkinson's . If M.J.( or whatever he calls himself these days ) Fox didn't know the democrats were using him , he should have . He used his "acting-talents " ( that's debatable ) to exaggerate his illness to score votes for a party who uses the ill to make false promises to those suffering and afflicted . The same empty promise was made by John Kerry , who said if we vote for him , Chris Reeve will get up and walk . That's just not true , nor is it right .

It was an attempt to characterize the symptoms of Parkinson's disease as 'acting' when it wasn't. There are good days and bad days -- but it was naive of Mr. Limbaugh to make such characterizations ... which he apologized for on the air. When one apologizes we should accept the apology and move on.

POOR Rush- he should be RUSHED OFF! Just for ignorance alone, much less being rude- and I'm a conservative! The media is getting worse and worse- thoughI am pleased with Jeff Beck- try him for a more polite fresh view- at least he tries all angles. Rush flushed himself between the drug thing and this for sure!

Limbaugh was a complete *** for mocking a man who is clearly suffering with a very serious disease! Even though I definitely lean toward the conservative side, I had no use for "Flush" Limbaugh before, and I have even less use for him now.
