I usually can make things fun because I have the ability to laugh at myself and not laughter at others but laugh with them.
My hubby and I had to have the dreaded colonoscopy a few years ago. We were "getting ready" over the weekend. His weekend was first and he was miserable and we had to cancel our standing breakfast date with friends. the next weekend it was my turn and we went anyway and I took jello and bouillon and tea. People thought I was nuts. I made sure it LOOKED like I was really digging the breakfast and I did have fun with our friends.

Yes. In tedious jobs I have just challenged myself to be the best and get faster and faster at it. My first non-manual labor job was being a dishwasher at a restaurant. I became better and faster as time went on and was told I was the best dishwasher they ever had. The same thing went for data-entry...I just got faster and faster at entering the results from telephone questionnaires for the marketing research company I worked for.

I can make most anything fun to me....to others I'm not so sure. I spend a lot of time alone.
