Then go ahead and stop paying income tax. Maybe you can convince the courts. As for me, the 16th Amendment is plenty enough proof (LEGALLY ratified in 1913):

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Jerry: "from whatever source derived" sounds like they can tax personal income tax also. Please cite your source for the U.S. Supreme Court case you reference.

Because the IRS knows there isn't one. Which means they are engaging in a massive fraud because they've sent many people to jail and ruined many lives because this agency is a business being able to run under color of law, on bluffs and intimidation.

The IRS gained a lot of power, and the people caused it because we developed a fearful mindset to the IRS. And that is not a good thing because if the people fears the consequences if they don't pay the government, then they fear the government.

turboweegie, that is not a valid argument. The US Supreme Court ruled that the 16th amendment didn't give Congress any new taxing powers beyond what was already being taxed. Congress only has the power to tax corporations. Do some research dude.

The 16th Amendment says your income will be taxed:

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes...."

Sounds pretty convincing to me.
