Sometimes for no reason I wake up and start worrying about getting fired for no reason at all; Or the other night the phone rang at 2 am and even thought I missed the call I kept thinking that someone must have called to tell me something bad happened. When this happens I don't get back to sleep for hours. It happens to me a couple of times a week and I don't know if I should see a doctor about it.

I use to do this alot. I think it's just anxiety and it gets worse during the night when there's not other things to focus on.

Stress. You might want to take some relaxation classes. Such as meditation, yoga, or workout in a gym. Remember not to take your problems to bed with you. There are numerous ways you can do this.

First of all, work-type stress: Hang anything work related on a tree outside your home before you enter. You must never bring them home.

Take a long, relaxing, aroma-therapy, candle-lit bubble bath while listening to relaxing music.

Have you ever heard of "worry dolls" as well? They are made and sold by Guatamalans. You can either order them online or find then in stores where Mexican/Spanish/Latino/Hispanic items can be purchased. They are micro sized dolls, you'll usually get them in a little "medicine bag" of sorts. Before you go to sleep at night, hold your dolls, pray a prayer which has to do with what you worry and stress about, give your worries to them, because you really shouldn't stress yourself out with unnecessary worries, then place the dolls under your pillow and have a peaceful sleep.

You might also want to take some breathing excercises before you go to bed. Take four deep, down, slow, down to the tummy breaths and visualize that you're breathing all the postives in, and breathing all the negatives out.

Yes, you may also want to see a doctor about your stress. :-(

Do you have friends? If not ,make some.Talk about all your worries on weekend.Discuss all your problems thoroughly. It is your own self that will have your attention and you suddenly wake, apparently without a reason.
