Ok I have this really cute cotton shirt but its WAY too big, and I need to know what I can do to shrink it.

Please dont tell me to get another one, if you want to be a smart-*** dont write anything.

wash it in warm water and then put it in the dryer. that is how my mom always did it....and not always to the shirts i necessarily needed shrunk either lol

Wash it in hot water, then dry on the hottest setting. But be careful. Once it is in the dryer, I would check on it several times to make sure it does not shrink too much!

Put it in the dryer for a very long time...like hours. I do this when I buy shirts too big.

wash it in hot water, dry it in hot temperture. works every time.
if that doesn't shrink enough (which i doubt if its 100 percent cotton) take it in and sew it a little from the sides.

put it in the dryer for a while. Just put it int here...don't need to wash it. But do check...it can shrink more than you want it to.

Eat Eat and Eat some more. You will notice that the shirt isn't as big as it use to be.
