Alright get some kegs, call up all your freinds and get a killer band to play at your house or wherever your throwing a party. A band is optional but my friend did it when he turned 18, get a hard alchohol to with an ice looge. And then when the night ends and your eighteen go out and buy a pack of ciggerrettes, porno and register to vote. If dont like thos do it anyways just because you can.

If you are thinking about having your party out at a specific restaurant for example, then I would choose to do Dave & Buster's if there are any in your local area. It's a party station and sort of like a Chucky Cheese's for grown ups. They have a eating place inside and lots of cool stuff to do with your friends. But if you are planning to do this make sure that you will be accompanied by some chaperones as they have to be with you in order to get in since you are under age.

You could also try to do a theme restaurant. I went to this one place called Casa Bonita in Denver CO and it had the coolest theme! The dining areas were like inside of a Mexican mansion and in the center of the restaurant there was a waterfall and diver that came to entertain and do stunts. Also they had a small kind of jungle with caves and the coolest gift shop. It was like a whole different world and would be lots of fun to have a party someplace like that.

i still prefer the traditional coming-out party with cotillon, 18 roses , 18 candles and all the works. do it in a fancy restaurant or hotel (depending on your budget, of course). you will be presented by your parents to the guests. for your 18th birthday, it is pretty cool to feel like a princess. =)

For my daughters 15th we had scavenger hunt at the mall. I also helped my sister in-law plan a scavenger hunt in her neighborhood. Being a shopping buff I knew my way around the mall:)

I am planning one for my daughters 18th which will be next September, that is a mystery, just like Clue. All the party guests will be participating in a who done it!! You can fashion it after the movie clue or some other movie or story that you know as long as it is a who done it.

Have fun, and God bless you.
