I am a Christian and I am not "offended" by Halloween, I just don't take part in the things such as the witchcraft and things like that.
P.S. I do not know many other Christians who are "offended" by Halloween, either

Christians are offended because of the media and hollywoods spin on halloween. They automatically present it as an evil pagan holiday when in fact it is not evil at all.

Many Christians do not partake in the sacrament of Halloween b/c they are fraidy cats. Take the story of Daniel and the lion's den for example. The fear of candy and a good time for their children frightens the bejesus' out of them.

Offended? I have never heard of that before. All my family, all my relatives, all my friends, all my country (99percent Catholic) totally enjoy Halloween. Who started this rumour......... So what, if it used to be a Pagan Festival. Good luck to them. It is indeed a Holy Day in the Catholic Church and I can think of only one other more popular Feast Day in the Catholic Church. That is of course Christmas............ but of course someone is going to say that too used to be a Pagan Festival. So what.............

Eh, they're aren't ALL offended. But some do object to it's obvious pagan roots (don't get me started on the pagan roots of Easter and Christmas though), and it is kinda spooky for the little kids.

AllHallows eve.
The eve of all that is holy. An early christion holy day.
How threatening does that sound?

It amazes me how a people who believe in an all-powerful God can believe HE is threatened by kids in dime-store costumes playing and eating candy.

Is THEIR PERSONAL faith threatened by Kids in costumes?
Will it make THEM stop believing in God?
They Are kinda FLAKEY....... Maybe it COULD!!!
