Because most mailmen just drive around and put mail in the mail boxes, and they usually don't have to get out of their car. While UPS men actually have to pick up heavy stuff and run around, so they have to be more active which lots of times means they're younger. I've seen some really good looking ones before :)

Think of all the babies that are going to look like the the UPS guys in the future instead of the mailman on the route. I thought mailmen were obsolete with email and online banking and email greeting cards and stuff.

Cause mailmen work for government.....ever see a good looking government worker of any type? Most are lazy slobs that take the jobs just to milk the system to get good pay and benefits without working hard.
UPS demands a lot of their drivers, the job alone keeps them fit and in shape. UPS guys run to your door.
Mailmen sit in a truck and drive mailbox to mailbox eating twinkies.

because mailmen work for the us government and are ragged out and treated bad with crappy pay mostly delivering letters who have a job for life. UPS guys pick up big boxes all day and make decent money and can be fired.

because they actually get out of the truck number one so you can see them from the waist down and number two you have to be in shape for that job all the running back and forth. i agree very hot its ashame they dont have time to talk.

Probably cause most of them are rather muscular. I know our UPS man at work looks really good.
