HELP!!!!! I am going to a camp this friday and we are going on a hike....what to wear?....we are gonna go to chapel 2 times a day and on those days we can wear denim skirts and potatoe shoes but on Sunday we have to wear dressy skirts or gauchos. And also
the rest of the days we are going on hikes and riding rides and all kinds of stuff and it is going to be like anywhere from 60-70 degrees. I want to wear something comfortable on these days and thought that you all might have some really good ideas!? Well if you have ANY ideas please let me know really soon! thank you so much! Oh yeah, also if you have ANY cute hairstyles please share them with me, i need something pretty easy and my hair is really thick and poofy when i let it dry on itself so i need something really easy and really cute! For hikes and riding wear either jeans or capris. Wear a t shirt that you dont mind if it get a little dirty just in case. For shoes wear tennis shoes. If you need to be a little nicer try instead of a t shirt a nice polo i still suggest wearing jeans or capris but if you absoluetley have to look nice definiteley do the gauchos. If you are going to chapel and need to look nice bring some jewlery, earings neklaces anything to make it a little dressier. Oh and make sure you remember a coat!

It sounds like you don't wear pants, so I would bring a dress or two, a skirt, gauchos in every color, and a mix of shirts (casual & dressy). Let your bottoms be plain that way you can dress it up or down with your shirts and shoes. Bring tights and pantyhose, so on the cooler days you can keep your legs warm and if you can wear tall boots bring a pair. Normally I would recommend hiking boots, but they take a while to break in, so wear a lace up shoe/boot (perferably leather) that comes right above your ankle.

Don't forget to bring items you find comfortable. You will not have fun if you are not comfortable.

Tip: bring a jar of new skin (located next to anti-bactria creams and/or bandages) for blisters. It stings when you first put it on, but if you have blisters and need to hike the next day it is a lot more painful.

Hair, before you leave get a trim and deep conditioning. Bring a flat iron if you have that kind of time, but if you don't get something to tame frizz and let it do want it wants. Bring a few nice clips/bretts and put it in a low ponytail when you go to chapel.

Most of all, don't worry so much about how you look! Just have fun!

Oh my goodness, I knew a girl named Livi once! We met on Neopets.

Anyway, I'm really glad that you get to go to (what sounds like) a Christian Camp, and that you're gonna do such awesome stuff there.

#1 Rule - Stay comfortable. Stick with khaki/lightweight pants that are hard to get dirty and you won't be afraid to get them wet, either (jeans that get wet stay wet for days - and stink). They won't be stiff and they'll be warm enough and light enough, too. For tops, wear T-shirts that you don't have to adjust every 5 seconds.
For your hair - try half up, half down, and if that gets too hot, put another holder over both parts and twist your hair into a bun. You can wear cute headbands, flowers, or whatever in your hair then.
I use Coconut oil on my hair, which I rub to warm up in my hands, then put in my hair when it's wet. You can find it at dollar stores or Walmart. It's in a clear or white plastic jar with blue letters.

Have a great time. Email me if you want! StarKitty14k@yahoo.com

PS - Stay away from white! Mosquitos and bugs love white.

Hiking you'll need hiking shoes and long pants to protect your legs. Get good hiking socks too. Layer your shirts so if you get hot or cold you can add or subtract layers. Wear a hat with a brim to protect your face and eyes.

Wear your hair in a pony tail.
