And how many of you actually got the job in the end?

I've never lied in my CV or in an interview (to the best of my knowledge). I've emphasized different things depending on the place of employment but never outright lied. The link is to a page on bending the truth in a CV.

For example, I am coordinator of a tutoring center and have put exactly that on my CV. In ordinary conversation, though, I call myself the "director." It's a semantic difference, and I would do the same job regardless of the title, but director sounds better. But in writing, I am the coordinator.

I have never lied to get a job..Falsifying information on an application or resume can justify on charges being filed or if you get the job and later is found out you lied, you will be terminated..

That's something I would never do. If nothing else, I will always be able to offer any potential employers my integrity.
