Im an Asian too,and I am also bad in speaking to people with english. I dont get it why are u scared to add someone at friendster, because u cant even chat at there rite?
And for the english lesson,i think taking one is a must if u really thinks that u need it.
But u dont have to be scared, coz maybe there is someone who is worse than u.Or even if u are the worst,u will be shy and scared, but because of u are shy and scared,u will be forced to learn harder.Of course u have ever heard that only 1% depends on the talent, the rest depends on your hardwork.
and.. U never know it if u never try it..
Hope it helps.

Well, improving language is done the same way you improve anything else. You have to immerse yourself in it. Not just reading a couple of books here and there. Read EVERYTHING. Stop watching the news, read a newspaper. Read a wide variety of books. Since books are edited before printing, and because authors are usually well-versed in the rules of english themselves, reading is a great way to learn the proper usage of language. Since a book with limited vocabulary would be boring, it is a great way to learn new words, and the proper context in which to use them. You have to really pay attention to what you are reading. If you come across a word you just can't figure out the meaning of, grab a dictionary. It seems like a lot of work, but it really is easier to thoroughly express yourself when you have a larger vocabulary. Eventually, it will get to the point where you won't have to pay as much attention to what you are reading, it will just come naturally. Good luck and happy reading!

From what i have been told English is one of the hardest to learn. I think it would be a great idea to learn, not only will you learn to speak English well, but you will make friends who are trying to learn to speak English too. When you realise you are not the only one that feels this way you self esteem and confidence will grow.

Take the English class it helps. Then try to meet people who speak well. Most people are very kind and most willing to help you pronounce words. Also I got language advantage tapes played them in my car it helped me with my chatting in Spanish.

You will not be ignored also practice your English in the mirror. so it will look natural and more self confident when you speak.
