I know I won't ever get a deal like this again. Should I do it.

I wouldn't advise it, but I'd go through with the purchase on one condition--the credit card must be offering a long term, no interest finance option at affordable minimum payments.

If you will accumulate interest in addition to the credit obligation, you should calculate how much interest you will be paying back to the credit card, in what you see as a realistic time period in paying it off.

Would this big screen TV still be way below wholesale, if it takes you 3 years to pay it off, and you have accumulated hundreds of dollars in finance charges?

You may find that it's better to hold off on this great deal; when you're in a better financial position, you'll be able to buy the television at higher cost, without compromising your financial stability.

Using credit for a television isn't a good idea, only use your credit for an emergency. The amount of interest you'll end up paying would look much better in your own pocket.
