I don't think there is any movie that is 'everyones' favorite, but my favorite was the first Halloween movie....

I actually have two...The Exorcist...at 33 I still cannot watch the entire movie with covering my eyes at several points. My other favorite is The Blair Witch Project because nothing had been made like it before or since. Totally innovative filmmaking and it relied on the viewer's imagination of the unseen menace to scare the crap out of you.

I hate horror movies. Slasher horror movies are usually stupid and the people don't act anything like normal. I like horror movies that are seated in realism.

the old school halloween movies were spooky (1 & 2).. especially when mike meyers would just pop up from nowhere with that music.. almost gave me a heart attack as a kid!
