If the Colts and Bears play the Colts will win. How can you say that they will be the teams in the big game. Your counting out a lot of good teams. The Colts screw up in the playoffs every year and the bears almost get beat by the cardinals when the Packers dimalish them 31-14. I am not saying the packers are going to the superbowl but neither the Colts nor the Bears have played games were there ready to go to the superbowl.

Well, if you have been watching both teams play, then you know that the score will look nothing like that. The bears D is too much for even the Colts. I am a huge Peyton fan so don't get me wrong, but with the weak running game they have and the staunch D the bears are putting on the field this year, I do not think Indy would score more than 17 points and that is being generous. Was it the bears and colts, I think it would be more along the lines of 24 - 17 Bears....

Let`s face it the Bears are the most overrated team in football. They haven`t played any good teams and to think they could stop Manning and that offense is just assanine.I know I know but the bears have the "best defense" so they say but we know it`s not true .Let`s be real the colts just beat the best defense in the league the Broncos who only gave up two touchdowns all year before Manning came in and threw Three touchdowns. So if it were to come down to the Colts and the Bears it would be a blowout.

that might be nice too see... but the colts have looked unstoppable in the past.. 16-0 who cares??? let them go undefeated... but once the playoffs start a 9-7 team that barely snuck into the playoffs can take either of them out! The cardinals should have beat the bears... so what will a good NFC team do to them? bellicheck once again messing with manning in the playoffs? the broncos against the colts in the playoffs? the Jags... maybe.. if they sneak in always play them tough. PLAYOFFS IS A WHOLE NEW BALLGAME! Grossmans inexperience may cost him... he'sa great player.. but can he stay healthy the season is only halfway over. He played one game on center stage this year and he through 4 picks... what happens when the whole country is watching him in the playoffs? Would be a fun game to watch though :0)

I think the Bears will roll all over the Colts. The Colts have barely won some of their games against teams that are not that good, like Tennessee for one. I think the Bears would win hands down, not even a close game.

Are you kidding me!!!! first of all did everyone already forget that Tennesse almost beat Indy!! Tennesse!!!!! The titans this year couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag with a F@%*ing chainsaw!!! Indy hasn't played anyone tuff yet either you know!! That being said I do agree it would be a good game, but there is no way in hell colts score 40+ points against the bears. Also Indy is going to lose in the playoffs just like every year.

Neither team has the balance of a team like San Diego, Denver or New England. Those teams can stay in games with their defence and scheme their offense to beat teams like the Bears and Colts. Take a look at the Patriots' dismantling of the Vikings, who played the Bears tough. I don't see the Bears beating any of the top AFC teams with their average offense.

good question.
the chances of both making the superbowl are slim. both will have to play very good teams to get there. a tough schedule during the season prepares teams to win championships.
grossman is average at best.da bears won't score 20 points in a game without an offensive td in the playoffs.if arizona didn't choke on that monday night, you wouldn't ask this question.
indy's d and running game suffered from lost players. dungy chokes in playoffs.so does manning. they did upgrade the kicker though.that was a good move.
lot of hoopla for so early in the season. my money's on those coaches that work the big picture, have been there and have balanced teams. teams that rely too much on one aspect of the game tend to get "upset". playoffs are much different than regular season.no tomorrow for the loser.

The Bears and Colts would be a very good superbowl and is very likely to happen. I do think your score prediction is definitely high. If the bears and colts play I figure we will be lucky to see either team make it into the 20 point range.
