I would pony up and get the ps3. it will blow away the 360!

Whoa hold your horses don't forget that the PS3 is not commercially available for another 5 months but it is probably worth the wait for the raw power of 'the beast', but either way they are both very good consoles my recommendation is to wait until the PS3 hits the market and read some of the reviews on it. But if you can't be bothered to wait you might as well go for the Xbox 360.
Also don't forget that on the 17th the Nintendo Wii will be launched, this is also a possibility although it is more aimed at the 6-15 year old age bracket.

PS3. although they won't be out here in the UK till march of next year, be I hear in the grape vine the by then there will be plenty to go around and til won't be like when the 360 was first launched,and not only that I have read that the price will be coming down a too.
I think it will be worth the wait.

Definitely both but if your into online gaming Microsoft Xbox live hands down. I have not seen a better interface for gaming online. Always been a sony fan but must say Xbox 360 is the next big champion.

I think The PS3 Is A Much More Wiser Option, As It Is Loaded With New Features and Sony Can Offer Better Hardware Support Than Microsoft.

If your from the Uk check out the Channel 5 "The Gadget Show" website. I saw it last night and they were using a PS3 and said they've done a review on all the new consoles (Xbox 360, PS3, etc)

The PS3 is coming out on 11/17 and that is what you should get. Not only are the graphics way better than the 360 but you also get the added bonus of Blu-Ray player which pretty much pays for itself.

as always the ps3 is overhyped the specs arent much different than the 360s sony is great at marketing thats why they have outsold every other console to date even though they have always had the least powerful console i dont think the developers are going to flock to sony this time their core processor setup is not real designer friendly, the price is way to high for the ps3

May think the PS3 is a failure.Just because of high price doesn't mean it'll be bad doesn't mean it'll be a bad console.I would take the PS3.
