Its wrong but it me want to move to San Francisco just to see it, any thoughts?

I didn't like that show. I thought Michael Douglas was a jerk (I like him now) and I had a hard time getting past Karl Malden's nose.
I'd like to see SF, too.

I lived in the San Francisco Bay area for 23 years; beautiful area. Unfortunately the whole area got way too overcrowded, real estate went through the roof, as did the cost of living. By all means go visit first, then you may want to reconsider a permanent move there. I do enjoy seeing reruns of that show, brings back fond memories of that great city.

You could take a trip and visit. Check out the newspaper classifieds for apartments and the like. The other replies are correct- San Francisco (and neighboring areas) are among the most expensive and costly places to live in the U.S.

San Francisco is a great place to live, as I did, years ago. It is very expensive but if you want to move there and can make I think that is great. Good luck.

there's is nothing wrong with your choice why did you feel the need to see if others agreed with it
they will not make you happy and you will miss out on a want of yours if you listen to us trust it!!
oh boo' "Streets of San Francisco a great show and i loved Carl large nose and his heart and many do not know this but Mr. Carl is a great talented individual - really and you must remember you wont run into any of the actors or props they used - lol!

Been there done that and and and.
I was a professional photographer and I could not stop shooting there. I have never seen anywhere to compare with so much beauty in its coastline or urban planning.
The standard of cleanliness is the highest anywhere and the population friendly in extreme.
The song by Tony Bennett was understated.
Go there or miss a chance of a lifetime.
