I think the jury is out for the Ravens because 11 seasons is not enough of a track record to define whether the Ravens were better than the Colts. Obviously, the legacy of the Colts is beginning to fade away with deaths and injuries to marquis names. The old Baltimore Colts were the better and classier football team - that tradition has continued in Indianapolis.
The Ravens are the Cleveland Browns relocated - regardless of what the team in Cleveland is calling themselves right now. Using that logic, the "old" Cleveland Browns won the Super Bowl thanks to the grace of Giants owner Wellington Mara who wanted to reward his old friend Art Modell for introducing the NFL to TV and taking flak for relocating the team to Baltimore. With players like Ray and Jamal Lewis, the Ravens have become infamous for off the field legal issues and have not endeared themselves to the community. The modern NFL player is a mercenary who earns his paycheck from city to city - but these Ravens have a long way to go before reaching the class exhibited by the Baltimore Colts.

As great as the Ravens def has been the past few years...all you need to say is Johnny U. Let's not forget Gino Marchetti and Don Shula....the Colts were far and away the better team.
Though each only has won 1 Super Bowl, the Colts were a better time during their stay in Baltimore with 2 super bowl appearances, 8 division champsionships etc.

I would have to go with Baltimore. Both teams only have won one championship in Baltimore. I think most people will pick the Colts due to sentimental history and Johnny Unitas, but I think the Ravens have a better winning percentage in Baltimore.

the ravens no doubt have a pretty good defense, but the colts also have a good defense. so the key to know which team is better simply lies in the offense. the colts are high caliber, hands down. i really don't think the is a comparison. you should have asked which team is better; the colts or the bears. thats a great match up. since they are both undefeated.

Nothing against Baltimore's version of the Colts, But (as of February 3, 2013), the Ravens are the better team.
Even the great Johnny U. despised the Colts. (Especially after Irsay's cowardly winter '84 relocation).
