I can't promise to stop it, but it can be reduced. First, put the computer in a family room so it can be monitored. Second, look into a software program that shows the sites visited. This will allow you to restrict the visited sites. Third, keep your eyes on the children and check what they are doing often. After a while it will not be worth it for them to check porn sites out with you checking them out. Good luck and it does take consistency.

There are several different ways to moniter your children. There are granny sites that watch what your children look at and several different moniter systems. I recommend that you try to limit their useage and when they are on it to be with them. I don't recommend your children have a computer in their own room because you cannot moniter it as much. Depending on how many pc's you have, put it in the family room. That way the children are less likely to browse porn if everyone can see it and you may be able to moniter it better.

"how do i stop my children from viewing porn sites?"
Much closer Adult/Parent supervision during computer time
and software filtering I recommend 'Content Protect' it's the best
filtering software for Windows for blocking out content you don't want your children to access or see like porn, violent sights, gambling sights, chat-rooms, hate sights.
Very easy to install.

Two ways... either buy some kind of parental lock software like net nanny, or you can always put on a login password and logout when ever you are done computing. Just let the kids use your computer only when you are around to supervise.

Go to tools, Internet options, Content , click content advisor, click settings, click Ratings Tab, select a category (language, nudity, sex, violence) to adjust the level of each of these contents, slide the lever to desired level, click apply and OK.
Go to Approved Sites type in the site you disapprove of (if you know them) click never for each site, apply and OK.
Finally go to General Tab to set a password so the settings cannot be changed except by you
Good Luck:-)

Not much other than removing their eyes. You can put all of those safety blocks on, but they can go see it at their friends house.
A better idea is to open a dialog about pornography and why it's a bad idea for kids to look at it.
