Are their any other employee's who treat their paymasters with such contempt as the 600plus M.Ps. Given the millions they claim in salarys and expenses/junkets/freebees, one would think they could treat the tax payers with more honesty,courtesy and respect. Has any serving M.P got the guts to reply ?????????

Because they don't care.
Do you think for one moment that "Two Jags" Prescott gives a toss for homeless families or people living on the breadline (£80 a week income support for those too ill or disabled to work) while he's living in his nice big comfy house earning 100s of £1000s a year and shagging his secretary?
Labour is no longer socialist.
These people don't give a DAMN about those who voted for them. They even ignored the "Stop the War" protests. So when terrorists say that civllians are to blame for their own deaths for not overthrowing a government who is doing something bad what the HELL do they mean? What more can you do than demonstrate and show your disapproval? And if that is ignored what then?

They live in a different world to us "normal " people, as in class system. Do you think they really worry about homeless, slum dwellers, jobless, old and sick, when they go home to their multi thousand pound homes and apartments. Have doctors in Harley Street. Most of them have grown up with rich family,s, gone to private schools, everything made easy for them from the minnet they are born. I am not saying this is wrong, but how can you expect people like that to know what normal people have to put up with in their daily lives.

There is a flaw with your theory ya we are supposed to be paying them & it's supposed to be our money! But you or i have not authorized any checks & we sure as heck are not incluled when it comes time for them to vote on whether they get their annual raises etc! So who do you think is really in control here? Yeah its all wrong & your vote will not change $hit til the whole process gets overhauled into legitimate honesty. Never in history has it been so.

The only genuine MP was Tony Benn. He relinquished a Title and a seat in the Lords, to stand for the House of Commons.

Once elected they don't need us anymore..as we have seen with the Blair's it puts them in a perfect position to feather their own nests...unfortunately it appear most politicians are only in the business to make lots of money to retire abroad....

I will not vote until party manifestos' are legally binding.They lie their heads off in their election material,so, we vote for something they have no intention of doing.No wonder they have contempt for us.
