AHHHHH!!!
so 1237 means the number of the building on a side of highway.
in taiwan, our highway has no building aside. it's enclosed.
in US, i think it is like common roads, so it has building aside.
THANKS A LOT to all of you answered my question.

1237 is the house or building number. Highway 41 is the name of the street, just like Elm Street or Main Street. It can be confusing because as a highway with a route number it can be uncommon to see street names in that format.

More on Highway 41: You didn't put the city or state so its hard to say definitively. It could be US Highway 41, which would have a white shield with black outline and numbers. These roads are federal and predecessors of the interstate system.

More likely, it could be State Highway 41: This is a road that is maintained by the state that it runs through. Once it gets to the border with another state the number will most likely change.

These roads can vary from a dirt country road to ten lanes of freeway. The only way to know is to look at a map.

The equivalent to your Taiwanese road would be an Interstate which has no buildings on the side. Except if you count toll plazas and rest areas.

It's building number 1237 on Highway 41. US addresses are typically set up as "building number" then "street name."

where do you see this?

typically, knowing it is Highway 41, you can look on a map and see what roads/highways connect to it.

1237 could be the other name for the highway if it's not an address.

good luck!
