What are your views on the war in Iraq (US) and our Canadian troops in Afghanistan?

I think Iraq is a shame for USA and England while in Afghanistan we really fighting the terrorism.
NATO must remain there.

Financially, wars boost the profits of the wartime contracts. Almost unlimited money poors into the contractors. That's the only reason for war!!! You can just dismiss any other reason because it's just propaganda and BS from politicians like Bush administration.

There is no valid reason for attacking and staying in Iraq. In fact the majority of Iraqis don't like the occupation of the Brits and the US in their country.

I don't care about the troops in Iraq either. Have you seen the kind of people they become being in the military? The worst kind of people you can imagine. I remember recent stories of rape, murder, and collective punishment against civilians from US troops. For example, if a soldier gets killed, they pick people (anyone they want) and execute them in frustration.

If the troops want to stay there and listen to the BS from the president, and clap and cheer at his speeches then they deserve what they get (even death).

As for the Iraqis...does anyone care to find out what they want? Of course not! The president is only focusing on what the US wants for them.

The government lied and manipulated inteligence to get into Iraq (that's a fact). Why doesn't anyone else see that the lies where to get the people to support something fake, and to see that the US had a much bigger geo-political goal in Iraq set up in the 80's and being carried out today?

its quite a complex situation....Iraq & etc. are only stepping stones to the bigger picture UPS, Fed X ...etc. the computer your on requires crude oil to make the plastics..
