Some of you may have heard that I'll be back in the most beautiful country in the world in January. Well, it has just been confirmed. I'll be in SA from January 1st to January 29th. I'll spend some time in George. I'll do the whole "braai-thingy", "Castle-drinking" and visiting friends or family. What to do when I get bored? Can you list 10 things for me to do? Have fun, you guys! I know how to entertain myself. Just wanna hear what you guys suggest.

So lets see, the ususal tourist things to do to start with

1. Trip up Table Mountain in the cable car - it revolves these days
2. Drive around the peninsular - through Clifton and Camps Bay to Lundudno and Hout Bay and over chapmans Peak to Noordhoek and on around to Camel's Rock - into the national park to visit Cape Point then on through Simonstown, and through to St. James and then via the Blue Route back to CT.
3. A walk around the V&A just window shopping and people watching
4. A walk on the promanade in Sea Point
5. A walk up long street to visit all the strange little shops and of course don't miss green market square.
6. A drive out to Franchhoek to visit a wine farm or two and have some lunch
7. A sunset cruise from CT harbour around to off Clifton and back. check out the colours on the mountains.
8. If you must - visit Robin Island, but remeber that's history now.
9. Speaking of history when last did you visit the castle in Strand Street and have them turn off the lights while in the dungeon.
10 Then all that is left to do is go and have afternoon tea at Rhodes Memorial or perhaps a walk and tea at Kirstenbosch.

Then don't forget a walk along the contour path from Constantia Nek
and if you surf ?

Actually 10 is not enough - you just have an almight JOL and say hi for me to my mountain while you are there. There is no more spectacular sight as you come into land at Cape Town Airport than to see Table Mountain through the airplane window.

I have only been to Cape Town a few times for study purposes and was not financially ok to explore Cape Town. However, I managed to take a cable car to the top of the Table Mountain and spoiled myself with the beautiful scenic view of the city and the peninsula. I took a boat to Rhoben Island, I got a chance to spoil myself in the most prestigious mall in the world, V&A Waterfront. I took a tour around Cape Town which led us to the mountain with a huge cave (I can't recall its name). Mhhhh.....that's all I can remember.
Don't worry about this pathetic idiot above me. He's suffering from severe illiteracy.
