If your antivirus can clean, quarantine, or delete it, you can still manually delete the file if you find it in your computer. If its a temporary Internet File, you can clear them using Tools > Internet Options in your explorer.

just get the mcafee antivirus software or if u have the mcafee shredder shred the file completely. And to prevent further risks while downloading get mcafee site advisor for free. You can also use Mozilla Firefox for better security

I'm afraid you might have to format your computer and re-install everything.. This might be a good moment however to consider installing Linux..
