I am a agressive female, and i am tired of people gawking at me as if I am so strange. I wonder what exactly are they thinking?

To other women it would be intimidating. We all want to say we're confident and don't mind being the aggressers but how many women actually are? Maybe they stare because they admire you. Or maybe they stare because they're afraid you'll take their man. Or maybe they just feel threatened by a woman that knows how to act confidently. Either way it sounds to me like it's not something to worry about. You should actually be flattered!

I wonder what you mean by aggressive. Do you mean shouting at people in public or being loud and obnoxious in public? If that is the behavior you are talking about, then people are staring because they are wondering if maybe you have something wrong with you, probably.

I can be assertive myself and I've never had anyone gawk at me.
Are you sure you are not acting out or being to aggressive or rude. Maybe you are loud and disruptive therefore drawing unwanted attention.

Same way they stare at unreasonably aggressive males. Your powers of introspection and openness to social feedback are probably quite limited.

That depends on your degree of aggressiveness. And if it involves bullying or overpowering others to get what you want.
I am an aggressive businesswoman, and it hasn't hurt me one bit.

I'm aggresive, too, and people act like I'm crazy when I speak out or am aggresive about getting things done. I think it's because they expect women to act a certain way (nice, calm, sweet, patient) and are shocked that we go against that.
