i ask because ive been best friends with this guy for 2 years and i was wondering how we could be so close but not in a relationship. i feel like i love him but i dont know if he feels the same to me. i asked him if he liked this girl and he said "no, he doesnt like any girl like that" so i never asked him out. hes not gay either because he just broke up with this girl who he was in love with. so i also have another question, could he love me even if he still loves his ex? ive even known him longer than his ex has.

Yes a guy can be bets friends with a girl without loving her. I am a guy and I have alot of friends that are girls, in fact that is pretty much all my friends are, and I don't love any of them. So what you need to do is figure out a way to see if he feels the same way about you as you feel about him. If you have to have one of your friends that is also friends with him talk to him about you and see what he thinks and say about you. I may be wrong but that is what I would do if I were you.If I'm wrong sorry but if I'm right your welcome.

Definately..The best friend I will ever have is a girl...we have been great friends for about 15 years...we used to see each other a few times each week, go out for a drink together, and talk about anything and everything...we now live in different countries (i emigrated), but still keep in touch, and would always help each other if needed.

Ok i have a guy best friend and well i love him but as a kind of brother sister type of love. Actually i have alot of guy friends that are like that. I think it just all depends on the history. But i have never had any typr of attraction like that with either one of them.

Yes! Its happening with me. the only thing that seperates my bf and my best friend(boy) is my best friend knows i have a boyfriend and how much i love him. Theres no place for jealousy coz my boyfriend is my best friend's friend (they are like real close!) Lucky me!
