Do you really believe that? Can you give me an example of how the mean old conservatives wan't to controll your body (other than your abortion excuse)?
Or do you just say that because it sounds 'powerfull'?

so by holly's logic, if a woman bothers me by nagging, Noone can control me, so i can abort the ******? Or is that ignoring the rights of another?

They don't want to give me the right to die as I see fit for myself. A close relative of mine is in that position. She decided long ago not to be kept on life support. If the conservatives had their way, she would be another Terry Shaivo case, slowly wating away to nothing as machines kept all her functions going.
That's no way to live.
I gave you an example (other than the abortion excuse) like you asked.
You're right. You're not going to change anyon'es mind anymore than someone will change your mind.
Good question, though.

How is telling a pregnant woman she MUST carry a child not taking control of her body? And how do you expect an example besides abortion when that is the entire cause of this debate? I don't say that because it sounds "powerful", I say it because it's true. It's so easy for you to sit there and say abortion is wrong because it will NEVER be something you have to face.
Edit: That is not following my logic at all. You are one confused little man, aren't you?

As a Catholic, I see abortion as morally wrong, but by the same token, God gave us free will. If a person chooses wrong, he/she will be judged accordingly.
Unfortunately, I believe abortion is here to stay. The Republican party even though they are currently in power, and also control our Supreme Court are not gonna change the law. Why? Republicans also line up to have abortions, and I'm sure many Conservative "doctors" own these clinics...

It is very interesting in how the pro-abortion crowd has changed the subject from sanctity of human life to a matter of choice. Now that the barrier to sanctity of life has been torn down it has opened a whole new level of so called scientific research on human embryos. Now the left is fighting to be able to clone embryos for stem cell research. They are for aborting viable fetuses through partial birth abortion. Now that the wall has been taken down it won’t be long before they are euthanizing the less than perfect and the old. Some choice???

Youre a control freak. Why do you CARE what the hell strangers do with their bodies?
Or do you just say that because it sounds 'powerful'? (one L)
Fact is,right-wing ideologues DO want to control other people's bodies and minds to overcompensate for their own lack of self-control. You and Shiraz PROOVE it.

News flash, women will have abortions no matter what you or anybody else says because it's fun to do.. They have a right to healthcare regardless of what you or anybody else says. Sorry to break the news to you, but women ARE powerful, and it isn't the 'right' to choose that makes us that way, it is the 'power' to choose. GO N.O.W - WE HAVE THE POWER! Now, if you want to do smoething constructive about it, by all means...but if your answer is to not take repsonsibility for yourself, and screww all of those children on welfare, then you are worse than those who choose what's best for the child. Let's screw WELFARE.
POWER TO US LESBIANS with a CHOICE!

Let a woman do what she wants, unless of course YOU want to raise and care for that baby. Do you want to spend more tax money on an unwanted child that will probably grow up dysfunctonal because he/she was never wanted?
An abortion can sometimes be the best alternative if that child grows up unwanted, unloved, uncared for, and in poverty.
Those against abortions need to start adopting more kids, there are plenty out there. Well, don't just stand there, DO something that backs up your mouth.

Mean old conservatives don't want anyone to have any sex, drugs, or any fun at all.
I love this pro-abortionist bumper sticker I see: "KEEP YOUR LAWS OFF MY BODY."
I want one that says "KEEP YOUR LAWS OFF MY WALLET."
Love Jack
