in the majority of cases pc 133 will tune down to pc100 but not all its a crapshoot try it and see

All things equal ...yes. As already pointed out this will decrease the overal memory clock speed to 100Mhz.

All things considered ... anyone's guess. Laptops are notorious for being ovely sensitive to the brand / types of ram modules they will accept. Even if it boots successfully with the new ram you may find the OS generating errors more often with the added ram.

I do not believe trying it will damage your unit. If someone is trying to sell you this ram just make sure you can return it if not satisfied. If you happen to have it lying around, well .... by all means give it a go.

Yes. It should. PC133 is just faster. Running it at a slower speed will work.
