I think that heaven and hell are all states of mind. We experience hell, purgatory and heaven At different moments in our lives.
There's no fork devil and fire and no everlasting Utopia.

In this life, we often find that good people have bad things happen to them, and that wicked people often prosper. If we believe in moral realism, namely, that there is such a thing as "right" and "wrong", it seems impossible that ultimately the people who do what is right end up worse off and those who do what is wrong benefit. If that were true, then our ideas of right and wrong must be backwards -- that is, doing what is wrong is actually the best thing to do. Since this seems morally repugnant, Immanuel Kant argues that there must be an afterlife, in which all these problems get "sorted out". Although this doesn't get you to a Biblical description of heaven and hell, it seems like a first step.
Personally though, I don't think heaven and hell are philosophically founded, but require a "leap of faith" (in the Kierkegaardian sense).

Yes there is:
It goes something like this:
When you want to coerce a person into doing something the best way is implement a so called the policy of "rewards and punishments". It works better then just threatening punishment or promising a reward. Thus Christianity wanted to coerce people into conversion and paying church taxes so they threaten people with Hell if they don't convert and reward with heaven if they do. The strategy is quite effective converting a lot of people.

Heaven and Hell represent the duality of man/women. We are both evil and saints and everything in between.

i imagine ordinarily because they have been further as a lot as imagine that everyone must be like them. it really is remarkable to me what number of human beings imagine that 'different religions' skill Catholics and Quakers and Lutherans. yet also i imagine it really is an same mind-set that places railings up on cliff edges, limits cigarette adn alcohol revenues to adults, and so on. They see the belongings you communicate about as genuine disadvantages and want to dodge others from damage from those disadvantages. the version is that the cliff area quite is there and there is a tangible chance of falling off. The 'chance' of not praying has no evidence in the back of it. and there is not something to help that praying to the God of the Christians will income human beings. it really is more effective in all chance that it will damage human beings because the authentic deity receives hacked off that those type of schoolkids are praying to a faux god. yet that is going decrease back to my first aspect. the theory that Vishnu is in basic terms as accessible as Jesus does ont ensue to them. they might particularly their young children pray the prayers of a 'different' faith - like Catholicism - than not pray in any respect. it could be hilarious to assert "O.ok.. we can reintroduce prayer in colleges." and then in basic terms have Hindu, Seik, and different non-Abrahamic faith prayers. those type of idiots who're so bent on getting prayer into college will be having conniption matches and rioting to get prayer out of school back.
