im takin my daughter to see her dad in florida . and she has always lived with me since she been born but the only papers i got from friend of court were child support. i just want the ppaper work just to be safe, but what should i do. dont have money to go up north to get the papper work , should i go talk to a lawyer see what he says.

Absolutely. You get free conseltation, so atleast hear what is said and thing about your options. Not sure about what papers you are talking about. If it is child support papers, then he should have been paying long ago. If it is custody papers, then that is something you should have done long ago. Be careful, but only you know what this man is capable of, if anything!!

call the court they will have copies of everything including your custody papers and have them mail them to you
