At some point, you might need a ribbon to tie back your hair on a windy day, and perhaps a red ribbon will go well with your outfit that day. If I were a psychic, that's why I would tell someone to put a red ribbon in their purse.

To keep students aware that they need to be drug free. And by doing this, during Red Ribbon Week, schools pick themes for each day of the week. Like our school had Red Day, Costume Day, Nerd Day, etc.
