5-10 dollars is not an "educated" guess.
Probably more like 2-7 dollars.
Try Gamestop or FunCoLand.....or whatever Used video-game place you have near you. They usually pay more.
Rhino games pays the most, if you have one in your area.

It totally depends on how old it is, how popular it is, what kind of shape it is in, whether the book is with it, and the case, etc. A lot of times you are better off using it as a trade-in at EB Games or Gamestop.

I'd suggest selling them to Blockbuster, they pay or let you trade them.

i can usually buy them for $5, so you're only getting half that, try ebay
