You could consider writing about gardenig indoors. In the Netherlands and i'm sure in the Usa too there are large business-buildings in which its also space for trees/plants gardens with water and all. I never read s-thing about it so you would probably be the first

Without knowing more about your paper...

How about comparing a plant's basic needs with that of humans showing how vitamin/nutrient deficiencies lead to weaker plants, etc.. more sunlight, water and fertilizer leads to stronger plants...

Do you have time to do research? I gave a presentation on sunflowers and was astonished at the value, kinds, uses, etc. that I found. However, I will caution you, none of the info. was in one place. I had to look and look...

I think it is really interesting that if you fertilize your garden with dead fish parts it really makes it grow. I don't have the foggiest idea why, but it does!
