Yes. You can have a period and still be pregnant. If you think you are, get a test. That is the best thing.

No matter what others may tell you, you CANNOT have a period while you are pregnant. Think about it logically, the baby embeds into your uterine lining. What is a period? It is the shedding of your uterine lining. Now how can you shed the baby's lifeline and still be pregnant? You can't. It is not rare, however, to have spotting during the first couple of months of pregnancy. The baby is attached to your blood vessels and your body is changing to adjust to the new addition so spotting can definitely occur. It is old blood that is being released. I can't stress enough that it is not a period! All of the symptons that you mentioned are also symptons of PMS. If you are bleeding the least bit red or more than enough for a liner then consider this a period and not pregnancy. If you still believe that you are pregnant I would wait 2 weeks and then test. Hope this helped.

yes it is possible to be pregnant and still have your period unfortunally for some. their are cases of women having their period through out their whole pregnancy thank god i'm not one of them. all you can do is take a test. but some of the change in your eating habbits could be due to your period or your body may be telling you that there are certain vitamins and minerals that it needs and it's not getting it so your body can cause you to have cravings also and not be pregnant just take a test preferably after your period ends.

Yes Yes Yes. I had 2 months worth of periods therefore i didn't think i was pregnant and then surprise.... I was. Most of the time they are light but yes you can still have them. Your best bet is to go to a clinic and have them test you. Their test are more reliable than store bought test. If you test negative wait a couple weeks and try again. I had 2 negative test results and therefore didn't find out i was pregnant until i was 3 months along. Good luck. Happy Halloween

A lot of things can cause the symptoms that you're experiencing. It doesn't have to mean that you're pregnant. Especially if you're on your period, you will definately have these symptoms. During pregnancy, it's common to spot, but not have a full period. If you're really worried, take a home pregnancy test. If the test is positive, go see a doctor.

I wonder where Tammy got her info from has obviously not experienced or known any one who has experienced periods while pregnant. I had two normal periods with my first pregnancy unfortunately i miscarried at 14 weeks which was a double shock as I was unaware that I was pregnant. My friend has had regular periods with all three of her pregnancies which is obviously a worry but all three babies were fine. another friend came out with us on one Christmas eve in a skin tight Mrs Santa's outfit and on new years eve went to hospital with severe stomach pains came home two days later with a beautiful baby girl she had regular periods up until that day !!

Yes, you can still have a menstrual period and be pregnant. Get an OTC pregnancy test or go to your OB/GYN. Also, if you think you are pregnant, until you find out, I wouldn't do anything that would harm the unborn child, e.g. smoking, drinking, etc (not saying that you are doing that). I hope it all works out!

Sure you can, you produce 2 eggs and when 1 is broken, you have your period, and during that period the other egg could get fertilized. In my country Nigeria, such pregnancy may give birth to Albino.

If it is REALLY your period, no. If it is just some other type of bleeding, yes. Go to the doctor.
