Although a fetus has a heartbeat at 7 weeks, very few machines can pick up a heartbeat that early. Really. Wait until your Dr. has determined that the lack of heartbeat is significant. Until then, try not to think about it. At 10 weeks, there should be no problem finding the heartbeat with an ultrasound. Relax.

Anything is possible but it might indicate a problem.
The fetal pole is a thickening on the margin of the yolk sac of a fetus during pregnancy. It is usually identified at 6.5 weeks with abdominal ultrasound imaging, and 6 weeks with vaginal ultrasound imaging. The fetal pole may be seen at 2-4 mm crown-rump length (CRL), and heart motion is often detected when it is seen. In the embryo, the heartbeat is seen as a regular flutter, which should be first evident at 5 mm CRL. If the embryo is less than 5 mm CRL, it is possible for it to be healthy without showing a heartbeat, though a follow up study in 5-7 days will almost always demonstrate the heartbeat.

No. Sadly, that's a missed miscarriage. I just went through the same thing myself with twins on the 19th. I am so sorry.
If a doppler was used, then don't panic. If an ultrasound machine was used, the news is bad. Very bad. The doppler usually doesn't pick up a heartbeat until you're well into your second trimester. I should've made sure to say that in the beginning.

If the baby measured 7w3d yet there replaced into no heartbeat, then I ought to assert in spite of the indisputable fact that it would not seem sturdy. Heartbeats could desire to be considered on a transvaginal test from 6 weeks. A being pregnant in its seventh week could desire to have a detectable heartbeat. If, in spite of the indisputable fact that, there's a raffle your dates are incorrect and for this reason the being pregnant isn't as some distance alongside as you theory, then there is each and every probability of seeing the heart beat on the subsequent test. FX for you x

First off go ask your doctor they know best not the people on that are going to tell you first thing it is a miscarriage. They have not examed you but apperently they can pick up everything thru the computer and diagnose you. Really 7 weeks is 2 early but if you are concerned consult a real professional not these people on here who are going to give you bad news before good news.

My doc could not hear the heartbeat at 10 weeks and she said it is very normal and because my uterus is tipped back sometimes you can't hear it until 12 weeks or so. I am sure you are ok. 7 weeks is very early to hear the heartbeat.

I'm sorry but I don't think so. Your doctor should be able to tell with an ultrasound. I say more than likely its an miscarriage. My sister went through one 2 years ago. Hang in there you will get through this.

There are no babies in the womb, there are fetuses and even though they may have a heartbeat, they do not become babies until they achieve person-hood. This occurs when they become self aware, like when they are smacked on the butt and start sucking air on their own and issue their first protest in a wailing scream.
