which hand stands for boy and which hand stands for girl in the lump test?

When I was a young girl I was told to look on my wrists for lumps when i bent my hand a certain way. The lumps were supposed to tell me how many children I would have and of what type. But I can't remember which wrist ment boys and which wrist ment girls. It's a silly superstition but it's bugging me that i don't remember. I'm sure other women that heard of this. Use the left hand to feel the guys balls for lumps, and the right hand to feel a girls breast for lumps.

I never heard of that one before either. We had a needle on a thread thing. A woman holds the end of a thread with a needle on it perfectly still. If it swings back and forth, she will have a boy, if it goes in a circle, she will have a girl. However many times it swings or circles is how many of each she will have.

We also had a Draino thing for pregnant women. She was to spit into a capful of Draino. It supposedly changed colors as to whether she was having a boy or girl (I don't remember the colors though).

we had this thing when looking at the veins on your wrists looking for initials of who you would marry. but not a children thing :o)
