The fence is different height between the posts - so i am not sure in which area to take the measurements.

The word convex means curving out or bulging outward.

A convex fence means that it curves up between the two post. For example it starts at 42" a the post and then gradually increases until midpoint to 48" and then decreaes back to 42" at next post. Where would I measure the fence.

Ok, The Rev. and I are confused. But, that won't stop me from giving an answer! On the back of the fence are the supports for the slats, this is where you measure to get the height of the fence.

No matter that you assume some who answer don't get the diff between convex and concave,,, who on the planet has a fence that has a TUMMY Bulge?

Height between the posts could mean that there is a curve/ radius from post to post with a LOW mid point?

I've installed thousands of feet of fence but I'm confused.

To determine a measurement no matter what, you might try length of pvc, thin enough to flex to the CURVE, then mark it at points straighten it and measure???

More clear info is needed by this old man.

Rev. Steven
