It is great you want to go trick or treating still!! Enjoy youth sweetheart, it goes by much to quickly. I see all ages, and there is nothing wrong with getting into the spirit of a holiday. Shame on all you nay sayers for depriving a kid of free candy and good harmless fun. kids are out there doing way worse things like smashing up your pumpkins, so heck yes,, trick or treat and have a great time hon. ( my eighth grade daughter is going too)

absolutely not. I am 106 and go trick er treating for three days before and 2 days after oct. 31st. of course , people get a little annoyed but free candy is what it's all about. If I find a house with something really good, I go back with a different mask and load
up.
of course, one time this old geezer caught on, "we'ren't you the 106 year old guy who was by here three minutes ago wearing a grocho nose and glasses?"
"Nah, " I told him, "you can't swing a dead cat around here with out running into tons of 106 year olds. "then when he gave me a mini bar, I asked him, "hey, what happened to the king kong sized bars you were passing out?"
He tells me, all the 75 year old's glommed them up. I hate those punk kids. they're faster and their walkers have ball bearing.
have a snickers bar for me kiddo.

I have elementary kids from 2pm to 5pm. Babies and toddlers around the same time with their parents. These parents dress up in costumes with their little ones. Which I give the parents of the babies and toddlers a candy bar for bringing their kids. Then from about 3pm to about 9pm, I will have middle school and high school kids.
So, it isn't stupid or weird at all. Halloween is for all ages, from babies to adults, it is one of the holidays enjoyed by everyone.
Go out trick-or-treating and enjoy yourself!

I went until I was a junior in high school. Of course I got the looks from the old man down the street when I came to his house, but think about it... when do you get a chance to get free candy. Who cares if people might get mad that you are too old, you're wearing a costume so it isn't like they are going to recognize you any place else. Have some fun out there getting the free candy!

Nope, as long as you enjoy it, I don't see anything wrong with it. Don't worry about what those other people think, they aren't the ones getting free candy:). Also, if you enjoy going trick-or-treating, it's who you are, and you should never be afraid to show that. Have fun getting tons of free candy!

it depends on your level of maturity. If you act like a 5 year old then i wouldnt think anything of seeing you dressed up and trick-or-treating. On the other hand if you have the maturity level of a normal 8th grader then yes, i would say that it would "be weird".

No. It's fun to still enjoy being a child, who cares of other people think you are "too old". Heck I even saw high schoolers trick-or-treating last year!
