I saw his show last night and he has no idea how Government works but was using his celebrity status to try to effect peoples views. That's what the USA needs an man who is challenged in politucs to try to lead some who has no vision or long term plan but merely just thumbs his nose to the leadership for dollars or crumbs.

What is wrong with people to view their own leaders with viceral hatred regardless if they are doing a good job, what's the deal America speak up!

Anytime someone doesn't agree with what someone else thinks; they think it's a tragedy. We're all human beings and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Personally, I like Bill Maher; he says what he has to say, and usually he's pretty darn right!

I'm sorry. I thought we lived in America where one has the right to criticize their government.

Not having seen the show, but knowing Maher, he was speaking about what he believed. He may not have pulled any punches though. If you have a problem with something he said, make a direct refernce. If, on the other hand, he was criticizing politicians that have screwed up, bonus for him.
