I know someone who is interested in becoming a wet nurse to help mothers that cannot produce enough milk. Is there someway to begin producing milk other than becoming pregnant?

Medications and pumping can help induce lactation.
If the woman has ever had a baby before, that would up her chances of success.
Some adoptive mothers actually do breastfeed.

Yes, there is. Women who adopt a baby can also start lactating to feed the baby and get a better connection with the child. It does take a lot of patience and effort to get the milk production to a good level though. If she's willing to do that, she should visit a breastfeeding clinic. They can give her tips about pumping, and maybe provide drugs (domperidone) to stimulate the lactation process.

Yes, only if you have been pregnant and able to breastfeed before.
