i am doing this project for school in science and i need to find the longest food chain i can think of. any help?

The longest food chain would have to start with a small creature that eats bacteria or maybe even the bacteria itself and ending with a major predator like a shark or a bear maybe even a human. That’s all I am going to say I don't want to do your homework for u.

A food chain is a food pathway that links different species in a community. In a food chain, energy and nutrients are passed from one organism to another. Food Chains rarely contain more than six species because amount of energy passed on diminishes at each stage, or trophic level. The longest chains usually involve aquatic animals.

There is a much larger variety of species in the ocean. There are smaller and larger species, hence more room for a longer chain.
