polished all the way

depends on the model the early mx5's and eunos imports where painted except the v-spec editions but overall theres been bout 15 different wheel designs so hard to say i prefer polished though

polished and then lacquered. Although some of the newer ones had a faulty lacquer coat and started bubbling...can be replaced by dealer under warranty - but only if you ask

I find that they rust very easily. Once rusted, best to paint them with silver hammerite. You could ask them to be replaced under warranty, however they are unlikely to rust sufficiently within the warranty period.

I find a quick sand and spray of silver hammerite every year keeps them looking good.

there polished on them ,i just had a set of them,and sold them good luck.
