Should I keep our cat inside? She does love to go out and check out the backyard. My neighbour told me that satanic cults use black cats in their rituals and that I should be careful these days not to let her out. What do you think?

I don't think you have to worry about static cults, but you should keep all pets indoors for halloween becuase of 14 year old pranksters with eggs, shaving cream, silly string etc. Pets have been known to be the victim of some pretty mean pranks gone wrong - especially the black cat.

I'd say keep your cat in till tomorrow afternoon. Because there are some sick people out there that would kill them in 'rituals' or just because their stuperstitous. When we had a black cat, we almost lost him a couple of times because he didn't want to come inside on halloween. so yeah, keep the cat inside.

I have a Black Cat. ( see my pic) .. an Just to be safe ... I am Keeping my Cat inside, Some people are totally crazy , an i dont even wanna put my baby at any kind of risk.

I would keep her inside tonight. There are some freaky people out there who think that sacrificing a black cat (and sometimes black dogs too!) brings them favor with Satan or whatever demon they are attempting to invoke. My vet says that it's best to keep all pets inside on Halloween, due to high foot traffic in the neighborhood, dropped candy and who-knows-what-else, and people who think it's fun to hurt animals and use Halloween as their excuse.

It's just one night. I would keep her in just to be safe. Satanic rituals or not, there are tons of kids and people running around being crazy, its probably for the best if you keep your cat in for the night.

I wouldn't worry about the satanic cults, but keep her in anyways - she wouldn't be 100% safe with all kinds of immature kids running around.

While Halloween can be fun for most of us it can be dangerous for pets especially black cats.

maybe not but just to be on the safe side keep ur cat in the ouse......you can't even adopt a black cat during these days.....
