Usually after the first hard freeze. But fleas can move indoors during the last days of the season on your pet, so it's best to keep the pet protected year 'round.

flea season never really -ends- if you have them, they will live till you kill them. They can live on rabbits or whatever in the yard and then you and your family bring them in on your clothes. The worst times for fleas are august-january. I work for an exterminator. Im telling you, vaccuum like crazy! bomb every 21 days!!

Well it only ends if you live in a climate theat has a freeze, if in Arizona well it doesn't end. even in cold climates though they can come inside if you have indoor pets and they will hide out in the house not just on the pet. So keep up with your monthly or trimonthly treatments.

Depends on where you live, but here in southern Ontario, we are usually safe after the first hard frost in November.

Our veterinarian recommends treating pets until there is a good solid frost. Hope this helps.
