Last week while on my way to school and in such a very very real rush, i noticed this old woman trying to cross the street and cars not stopping for her. she was very small and i dont know if its because they were too busy trying to cut across in each other in their own rush to wherever they were going, or they were too impatient to let her pass so I had to cross over the street and then took her by the hand and stopeed some vehicles so i can cross her over. She walked so slow but it was worth it. I felt very happy that i took time out to give that helping hand.

I was standing guard at a supermarket, when a woman of about 80, dropped her groceries in the parking lot, and it was raining at the time. I ran over and put the groceries back in her basket. She tried to pay me, saying that at least 5 or 6 guys had passed her by while she was trying to pick up her mess. I told her no, thank you anyway. I guess it surprised her that a woman would help instead of a man. I didn't mind, my Mom taught me well.

This elderly woman was lost, looking for a relative. She was travelling with another woman. I was at the sandwich shop and they asked me for directions. Travelling the backroads of NewEngland in the dark can be quite the challenge. So, I had them follow me and brought them to the place they were looking for. It was about 4 miles out of my way, and by the time I got home my sandwiches were cold. But I wouldn't want to be lost on those dark roads, so I certainly wasn't going to let couple of strangers go at it alone.

I picked up some toy trucks that fell on the floor for two little kids at a restaurant. The mothers seemed like they could have cared less, but I didn't want anyone to fall on them or the kids to lose them.

I opened a door for a elderly man at the grocery store. When we got to the check out, he only had two items and I paid for them and gave him a hugged and told him "his angel" was with him. The man started to cry. (I didn't want him to cry)

Last week, when I ran of cigarettes for six hours, and this guy was REALLY pissing me off on the bus, I didn't rip his heart out and shove it up his rectum.

I should be a saint.
