No i don't sense watching television is a waste of time. perchance to help pass the time in a waiting room yet no longer a waste of time. I watch television in basic terms as i might study a sturdy e book... to verify, snort, mad or cry and then tell my friends approximately it. in spite of the undeniable fact that i do no longer watch television popular because of the fact of my busy schedule. My 5,7 year previous watch 30-60 min an afternoon yet on effective days % to be exterior. The older 2 14,15 watch a million-2 hrs basically while all college artwork is done. all of them have discovered issues at one element or yet another from the television which at the instant are not taught at school because of the fact books and lecture rooms are the "edited" version of actuality. The HS my older 2 circulate to might prefer they watch no television and that they get many examining assignments. I say in the event that they did no longer have television then the books might in basic terms be words. how are you able to image what you're examining approximately in case you have by no skill considered the situation or something comparable ensue? As a confirm i do no longer know each little thing I ought to coach my childrens until now they're adults so television... information & shows consistently set off some style of recent "actuality" question that i'm consistently satisfied to describe. If television replaced right into a waste of time then somebody does no longer make the hassle to fee the content textile of the shows because of the fact no person might care.... in basic terms my opinion. additionally i think of all and sundry has their own getting to understand sort ..... some study, some hear, some in basic terms % visuals like television.

No, it is not. It all depends on what you watch. There are a lot of great shows on-documentaries and medical shows and such. Like, there are "Animal Planet" and then you have Court T.V. and you hace The Learning Channel. You also have PBS and Channel13 with shows like "Charlie Rose" and "Nova".
There are a lot of programms out there that are as good as there are as bad. So, depending on what you watch or cannot find to watch, that will tell you if you are wasting your time or not. I personally don't. There is always something good on for me watch.

Kind of, do to the fact that my generation of kids 12-13 year olds will die an early death because of obesity. Part of that comes from watching too much tv. A little bit of tv every day is good doesn't mean you have to watch the learning or history channel or discovery. Just don't watch food network or stupid cartoons or shows that make you want to sit around all day and watch it or make you do something stupid.

Yes, I think it is a major waste of time. People a hundred years ago that didnt have TV made it by just fine. They also got alot more accomplished and had much more sleep than the average human today has.

If you're watching the History Channel, Food Network, Discovery Channel, etc....then no; they're very entertaining and actually teach viewers something. If you're watching the View, anything on MTV or any reality show, then yes... Those types of show are why I don't watch much, if at any, tv at all.
