i am taking my friends little boy trick or treating, and we went to a club that had a halloween ball and got all dressed up, its all fun at the end of the day, life is to short not to have fun, and if people dont like it then dont get involved! put up the sign that says: " SORRY TO BE SUCH A TERRIBLE BORE BUT NO TRICK OR TREAT TONIGHT AT THIS DOOR!" that way no one will come knocking!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I'm going to the slides at the Tate Modern and then being taken for afternoon tea at Claridges. Finally, I'm going to see a film called "The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveiros", part of the London Film Festival. What a fab day!
Hallowe'en is great and should be celebrated, and trick or treating is ok if done sensibly and sensitively (ie not by teenagers). The treat should be homemade - like cakes/biscuits. The trick should be homemade too and not messy or dangerous - like a magic trick. Go forth and enjoy the evening......

I love Halloween, it is new to me as we don't celebrate it in SA. I have a huge bowl with loads of sweets [ most of them the kind i like, just in case ] just ready and waiting . The bowl has a hand attached to it and when the brat sticks its little hand in the bowl the hand grabs their hand. Cannot wait. Wearing a stocking over my head with a witches hat [ someone i am very close to , has suggested go as you are ] he is not alive anymore. But yes, i agree, kids should be accompanied by an adult . I have had guys at my door with the Halloween masks on just stood and stared at me but my Alsatian soon scared them off. I know the shops around here wont sell eggs to the eggs and i am sooo glad about that, not that anyone has ever thrown eggs at us. But yes, i enjoy seeing the kids all dressed up and think it is toooo cute.

I'm on holiday at the moment and i don't think they celebrate it that much here (Namibia), am a bit down about it as my sister's having a big circus-freaks themed party in her cellar. I like Halloween when it's celebrated with a sense of fun, and i love seeing kiddies dressed as pumpkins etc it's so cute! There's no other holiday quite like it.

Trunk or treating at the church parking lot. (It's passing out candy to kids from the car trunk). After that, I'll be staying in and passing out candy to the trick or treaters who come to our place. Even if I weren't too old to trick or treat, I think I'd still stay in. Temps are suppossed to be really cold tonight. brrrrr......

Hallowe'en is awesome! It is more than ok and should be ENCOURAGED!
I am too old for trick or treating, but will still be celebrating by carving a jackolantern, handing out candy, eating candy, and watching horror movies!
