Can anyone recommend a good book/magazine that would help? I'm just no good at putting things together but sick of either wearing suits to work or jeans for casual. Help!

When you go shopping look for either a top or a nice pair of jeans or slacks that you love. Then, ask the salesperson what shoes and top or bottom would look good with it. If you need help with the whole look, ask him or her to suggest earrings and a necklace too. That way you pick out part of the outfit and it will look like you still.

I have no perfered magazine, if you are wanting a change of clothing just when going to buy a magazine with fashion tips, flick through the pages to make sure they have a good coverage of fashion tips, and models showing off the latest designs. Buy weekly magazines, for quick fixs, such as gossip column ones like now and bella will get you into the swing of things...

Trinny and susannah will help with style and what suits your shape. Fashion is completely different to style as it comes and goes with the seasons.
Try your library for fashion/ style related books as it might be that you like the look of a certain era and they will have more specialist books that you can read FOR FREE!!!!
Try online shops for ideas. ASOS, Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop, M&S, Miss Butterfly, Peacocks, New Look, Boden, They will all give a few different looks. Find something you like the look of then hit the shops!!

How about looking at asos.co.uk for up-to-date fashion ideas (and cheap clothes). You could also look at websites for most of the high street clothes shops on line and could then use the ideas with some items you may already have in your wardrobe or could go to cheaper shops (Peacocks, Primark and Matalan etc. in the UK). Otherwise, you could go to a large department store and use a personal shopper to pick out a selection of clothes for you. Alternatively, go shopping with a close friend or family member for honest and open advice when you try clothes on. The What Not To Wear book by Trinny and Susannah might help too - you can probably pick up a cheap copy on ebay or may be able to quickly look through one in a book shop!

well you can subscribe to vogue magazine, which is one of the Best high fashion magazines IN AMERICA! or just simply go online to get tips in Style.com.One thing i do reccomend is buying alot of shiffon scarves if you want to make your simple jeans and tee shirt stand out, with cute flats. For suits maybe just a simple pantent waist belt and that will about do it!

In India we got Cosmopolitan, Elle, 17, and other magazines which are bought by people who are fashion conscious. u could do the same. U could surf the Internet. All the best in becoming fashion conscious! Also u coild watch "fashion TV" or any other trendy channel. Mind u its going to be expensive !!

Hello there well my advice to you is to start out by reading magazines and looking at all the clothing, hair styles, shoes bags etc... and try to imagine yourself in those clothes, in that hair and so on, this will give you an idea of how you will look. Just remember as long as you are comfortable with what you are wearing you will look very fashionable.

Well everyone is different and likes to be in the new trend but it can be hard someties to keep up. Well if your busy like me or dont bother looking in magazines you can just look in a shop window you know like those branded shops.Just loook at he manican and they are always wearing the top trends.
