Interesting why many people are spelling "Hanoi" and not "Ha Noi", "Ho Chi Minh" and not "Hochiminh" :-).
Anyway the capital of Vietnam is Ha Noi, a city in North Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City, aka Saigon, used to be the capital of the Southern Country, before the war ended in 1975.
The name "Ha Noi" means "within rivers", as the city itself is surrounded by many rivers.

attractiveness is interior the attention of the beholder yet... i might say Hanoi through fact the city is somewhat greater ideal designed and that they have got a touch pond/lake interior the path of it. it is likewise near to the superb Halong Bay! HCMC is in easy terms a large city crammed with motorbikes yet i in my opinion enjoyed it and theory it replaced into greater thrilling than Hanoi. i think of the two cities are very crowded with the component going to HCMC. no count if or no longer they're "overcrowded" will count on your very own sense and style. I stay in Tokyo if that provide you with any guage. i think they're the two with regard to the comparable in terms of fee yet i replaced into in easy terms there as a vacationer; i've got not lived there.
