I've only been to Sierra Leone, but I'm itching to get back there...
The beaches are amazing there, and the people are friendly, even though transportation can be a little rough.

I've heard that the Gambia is a nice place to visit, too.

I think the best time of the year to visit is in November, (this is probably for most of West Africa)--it's after the rainy season, and before the super-hot, dusty, dry season really kicks in.

Senegal, Gambia, Ghana. Beautful places, beautiful people.
In Senegal go to Dakar/ Goree Island

July- Dec. Ghana,South Africa,Senegal,Kenya and Cote D'lvoire .in fact Cote D'lvoire is one of the beautiful countries in Africa but you must have a little knowledge in French else u won't enjoy your stay.The rest are cool and favorable to tourists at anytime of the year.
