For the 4 years that I had contacts I never knew that I needed "special" makeup. And when I knew that I had got makeup in my eye I ALWAYS knew lol, so i would just take the contact out and rinse it with the stuff and put it back in. Problem solved, I don't think you would need special makeup just as long as your eyes feel fine and your cleaning the contacts. My mom has never switched makeup and she's been wearing her contacts since she was 15 and she's now 51. She's never had a problem with it.

Unless you have sensitive eyes, there isn't a need to use a special eye makeup. Because you are a contact lens wearer, use care when removing your eye makeup.

First remove your contacts, then use an eye makeup remover formulated for sensitive eyes. It can be more gentle on fatigued/dried eyes that have worn contacts.

Your optometrist may have other/more suggestions.

Good luck!

eye shadow - i don't suggest a loose powder (it can put a film on your contacts)
mascara - maybelline in the pink and green tube - it doesn't have fibers that will get in your eyes.

makeup remover - do not use an oil based remover.

enjoy your new look!

Use non-powder based make up, the powder will get into the contacts.
